Western Power Pool

Western Power Pool engaged KBL Communications as a consultant for its Western Resource Adequacy Program, or WRAP. In this role, I develop and execute strategic communications plans, manage media relations, and create content including press releases, website content, newsletters, social media and video scripts. Initially, I conducted audits of existing content and media coverage, and developed a communications infrastructure.

The communications supported WPP’s effort to get the program approved by federal regulators and gain the needed industry participation. After filing the application in summer 2022, WPP received approval in February 2023. I continue to assist with communications as WPP prepares to launch the program, and support additional WPP programs as needed.
